The bottling facility is located in area named Kostel. Kostel is very attractive geographically agitated and ethnographically interesting land spread in the south west part of Slovenia on Slovene-Croatian border situated by river Kolpa in Kočevje region.

The landscape is on the outskirt of Karst region featuring its distinguishing characteristics. There is no industry on the area of 57 km2 and more than 80% of land is overgrown with forests. The land is practically untouched by human hand; the water and air are crystal clean. With its peaceful, natural surroundings the community has all potentials to create high quality health care tourism.

The water source was completely researched through long term geological, biological and hydrological researches and analyses conducted mostly by governmental institutes. The geological researches were conducted by Geološki Zavod Ljubljana (Geological institute Ljubljana) and the laboratory analyses by Zavod za zdravstveno varstvo Novo mesto (Institute for healthcare Novo mesto). All analyses were made by EU standards.

The first geological and hydrological studies of the west DINAR Mountains, conducted in a cooperation project between Slovenian and Austrian geological institutes has shown that dolomite water supplier has big potentials for exploitation.

The water is collected from the area of mountain Stružnica covered with impassable old forest. Both wells were constructed on the ground with practically no neighbouring habitants therefore it is safe to declare that there are no agricultural, industrial or other polluting factors endangering the source.

According to hydro chemical analyses the underground water is a type of magnesium hydrocarbonated water. Costella is very well aired water and comes out from well named Maks 2 (depth 95 m).

The contents of analysed elements point out that the low mineral water is very rich with calcium and magnesium and the chemical structure is very stabile. The hardness and pH factor of the water are appropriate; water is also neutral and bacteriological clean.

The natural mineral water is bottled with aid of highly technological instruments, without modification or any cleaning procedure.
